Distance Learning at HCC
Use the Quick Links at the left to access your online courses. If you don't know your password, see "How to Access Online Classes" at the right.
Haywood Community College offers a wide range of online courses and programs. For a list of programs available online at HCC, please click here.
If you are not yet a student at HCC and wish to enroll in an online course, please complete an online application. For registration assistance:

If you are a student at HCC, you may register for courses online. Please click here to download the Online Registration Procedures.
If you are a student who is new to distance learning, please click the "Are Online Courses Right for Me?" link at the top right.

How to Access Online Classes
Please remember that you will not be able to login to an online course until the first day of the semester.
If you are a Curriculum Student (taking a course for college credit), your instructor may use either Blackboard or Moodle to deliver your online course. If you do not know which one is being used, login to Blackboard first. All courses are available there and if yours is offered through Moodle you will see additional instructions.
To login to Blackboard, you should first login to Haywired. Then, click the Blackboard (Online Courses) link in the "Students" section at the left to begin your courses or click the email icon 
in the upper left to access your college email. If you do not know your Haywired Log In ID or password, or have trouble logging in, please click here. If you have not used Haywired before, be sure to read the Important Information on the login page about pop-ups.
To login to Moodle, you should first login to Haywired. Then, click the Moodle (Online Courses) link in the "Students" section at the left to begin your courses or click the email icon in the upper left to access your college email. If you do not know your Moodle username or password, or have trouble logging in, please click here. If you have trouble logging into Haywired, please click here.
If you are a Continuing Education Student (taking a course NOT for college credit), you may access your courses in one of three ways.
If your course is provided through Blackboard, click here to login to Blackboard, click "User Login," and then click on the course that you want to access. If you do not know your Blackboard username or password, or have trouble logging in, please click here.
If you are taking a Continuing Education course sponsored by your employer, you will probably login thorough Trinity. Click here when you're ready to login.
If you are taking a Continuing Education course paid for by yourself, you will probably login thorough Ed2Go. Click here when you're ready to login and then select your course from the "Courses" link at the top.

If you are a TCCC or SCC Nursing student taking courses through the Region A Nursing Consortium, please click here.
If you are a video conference student at another college who has been given access to a Haywood Blackboard course, please click here.
